Sean O'Kelly has been the chief balloon decoration designer and installer at BalloonDecor.net.au
After seven years as a fulltime/freelance journalist he entered the celebration industry in 1983 when he joined the family owned OK Party Supplies(est. 1976) where he supervised the decorating of private functions and corporate events. He has written numerous articles containing design instructions for many Australian and international industry magazine.
His designs have appeared in both local and overseas manufacturer’s catalogues, brochures and websites. Having taught at local and overseas conventions he has written over 60 instructional sheets detailing the various construction techniques for his many original designs. specialize in custom designed balloon branding and theme décor for promotional displays, retail marketing events, trade exhibits and private functions.
In 2016 he was invited along with 40 other designers from around to participate in the successful Guinness World Record attempt where they inflated in excess of 365,000 balloons to build a unique Chinese Palace.
2017 sees Sean expanding the services of Balloon Décor
even further by joining forces with the long established Audio/Lighting and Special Effects Company – AVFX and Crack-A-Jack Fireworks.
By creating the BALLOONease set of instructional Blogs Sean is now providing FREE dozens of detailed instructions related to the use of and decorating with balloons. In each Blog shares many of his professional secrets by providing practical tips and tricks that help the amateur and professional decorator save both time and money when decorating with balloons.
